I truly appreciate your time in explaining modified wheat starch. Companies are knowingly hiding ingredients in foods and purposely undermining the goals of people trying to lose weight and become healthier. Sad. I have been so confused about several additives but have had difficulty finding reliable information. I was wondering if you have any information about Sucralose. I KNOW it is bad and has a higher glycemic level than sugar. I asked one manufacturer why they were including it in the production of their diet foods. He asked me if I had any solid research that it raised blood sugar levels. I could find nothing but my blood sugar level spiked when I ate something with Sucralose in it. Of course that is not research and it could have possibly been another ingredient I was not aware was causing the spike. I feel that companies manufacturing ‘diet’ foods should be held accountable for the damage they are dealing out to innocent customers. I even question my own understanding that it is a TERRIBLE additive at this point.
If you have any info that proves me right/wrong, that might help me understand the good/bad of Sucralose, or convince this manufacturer to stop using Sucralose (which I’ve read causes gut issues as well), I would love to hear it. I would love to raise MY OWN level of knowledge and have something to share with others that can actually help clear that air about Sucralose.
